About Us

Beginnings

Windmill Country Threads officially begin in 2014 as an outlet for my creative energy. I love to sew and decided to try starting a business. Initially, I began sewing specialty clothing for babies with special health needs. I also provided custom sewing services for a local baby boutique.

New Ideas

As all businesses adapt to the particular needs of clients, Windmill Country Threads began to specialize in home decor with a special focus on denim items and rag-quilted farmhouse decor. Over time, I have expanded the selection of products as special requests have come in. Many of the items I currently sell were initially designed as custom orders for an individual client that have become very popular as I have continued to make them.

More Experiences

I have also enjoyed sewing custom pillows for a national day spa company, multiple items for a local embroidery shop, and specialty products for many local clients.

Custom Designs

I provide custom services for clients with specific needs. I love getting to work with them and find just the right fabrics and designs to create their items.

Service and Focus

I do my best to provide accurate time estimates on completing and shipping orders and usually finish them sooner than anticipated. However, my priorities will ultimately dictate timing when unexpected events arise. I am committed to serving God first, caring for my family second, and taking care of everything else after that.
